Weapons and defense manufacturing, research and development, and a militia for hire. While not present in every district, their products can be found anywhere and everywhere. Oftentimes you can find their equipment in pawn shops, and hunting and outdoors retailers. Their Military Grade Equipment is only available to a select few.

“Everyone needs the ability to defend our city, defend themselves from trespassers, and the ability to survive an encounter with any of the great horrors that threaten our world and our way of life.” A speech taught in every school, and is in part of every educational syllabus. Through the rough history of the city, it is often whispered that the Emperor owes his success to the manufacturing districts. The defense of the Metropolis and its outlying areas is handled near entirely by the militias and the military, but in the major wars in recent times, every citizen had the power to hold the line, and often did.

The demonstrators working for Carbrite hold countless proper and effective use seminars. Some are celebrities built into the feed, and others stand on makeshift stages on the streets heralding in the latest designs for self defense. Many of the demonstrators also work as recruitment officers for the military, and some of the militias, signing up the common folk that rally to the cause of defending their way of life.

Products Overview

More important than the equipment itself, is the vetting process. In many districts signing up as a militiaman is a requirement for purchasing Carbrite’s products. In others, a minimum age and certification is required. There are a few places, though, where these things can be obtained in complete anonymity, but usually at a much higher price.
